UTUSAN MALAYSIA : KUALA LUMPUR 24 Jan 2006 - Menteri Kerja Raya, Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu dicabar mendedahkan laporan penuh syarikat perunding, Halcrow Group Limited (Halcrow) yang melakukan siasatan teknikal ke atas keretakan jejambat Lebuh Raya Lingkaran Tengah 2 (MMR2) berhampiran Kepong, dekat sini.

Presiden Pertubuhan Generasi Profesional dan Pewaris Bangsa (Prowaris) Feriz Omar berkata, pendedahan laporan penuh itu perlu diketahui umum bagi mengelakkan timbul sebarang keraguan terhadap tahap keselamatan jejambat itu.

"Kita minta beliau (Samy) dedahkan laporan itu memandangkan kira-kira 3,400 nyawa yang melaluinya pada satu-satu masa boleh terancam jika jejambat itu runtuh secara `kesan domino'," katanya pada satu sidang akhbar di sini hari ini.

Prowaris (rujuk: http://prowaris.org) merupakan sebuah pertubuhan bumiputera yang bermula pada tahun 2001 sebagai sebuah kumpulan diskusi informal berpegang kepada wadah perjuangan profesional Melayu Abad Ke-21.

Kata Feriz lagi, perangkaan tersebut tidak mengambil kira jumlah kenderaan yang menggunakan jejambat itu pada waktu kemuncak dan kesan bawah jambatan di mana terdapat jalan raya yang sesak.
Menurutnya, `kesan domino' yang dimaksudkan ialah apabila satu daripada tiang jejambat itu runtuh, maka ia akan menarik tiang-tiang yang lain menyebabkan keseluruhan jejambat sepanjang 1.7 kilometer tersebut turut runtuh.

"Ini tidak mustahil berlaku memandangkan 31 daripada kesemua 33 tiang MRR2 telah retak," ujarnya.

Katanya, walaupun sebelum ini laporan Halcrow menyebut keretakan berpunca daripada masalah `delayed enttringite formation' (DEF), tetapi seakan masih ada `rahsia' yang disimpan di sebalik laporan itu kerana pendekatan penyelesaian yang diambil meragukan.

Berdasarkan penganalisaan pihaknya kata Feriz, pembaikan kalis air yang dicadangkan Halcrow tidak dapat menyelesaikan masalah tersebut kerana bersifat sementara.

Hello kodoks!

First and foremost, Happy New Year! Dah set 2006's resolution ke? If
dah, good luck on it lah..

Anyways, ive got few exiting news to share with y'all... First, Buli
Balik Press Preview will be taken place on the 12th.. but as for
now, Afdlin still didnt give me the full info on the event.. and
also the number of free passes available.. so will post it as soon
as i get the news from him ya..

Another thing, very soon, we will have our own KODOK Tshirt.. yeah..
and its green in color.. and on the front, there's "GUA KODOK" as
the design.. and its RM20... as for the size and so on, still not
given yet by our cipster.. tapi dia dah suruh i amik order coz he
can get some of it to be given out during Buli Balik Press Preview..
So sesiapa yg nak, please lemme know.. i will try to get the design
of the t-shirt..

Projek terbaru aku kat ofis Corporate Website Firium Solution Sdn. Bhd. Take 2 week nak siapkan design dan juga content. Maybe before end of the month aku upload semua file kat dalam server. Because now aku kena jaga 3 country for the Creative Department, I m a Only One Designer. Rasa-rasa nak pecah otak kena jaga 3 country. Awal tahun 2006 maybe tak banyak kerja, tengok lah lepas2 cuti Malaysia ini. But Gaji tak naik lagi dan juga $$$$ bila nak dapat hehehe.

Semalam aku baca artikel dari akhbar NST Tajuk Utama "More MPs take to blogging". Sekali ada nama YB Dato' Shahrir Samad tentang laman web www.shahrir-umno.com & Laman Blog http://shahrir-umno.blogspot.com, Masuk dalam akhbar NST semalam 28.12.2005.

Tak sangka masuk dalam akhbar NST, aku bangga hasil kerja aku dapat perhatian blogger dan juga laman web shahrir-umno. Aku harap laman web dan blog YB Dato' Shahrir Samad dapat perhatian di dalam dunia maya politik.

Only one BN leader, Backbenchers Club chairman Datuk Shahrir Samad, has a blog. His www.shahrir-umno.com . shahrir-umno.blogspot.com was set up in April this year. It contains mostly news reports and his activities. Shahrir said his BN counterparts had probably not gone into blogging because of different priorities. "Different people have different perceptions. Blogging is not the only avenue to keep in touch with the people. Some utilise the party’s machinery, or the media, or go to the ground," he said.

However, the Johor Baru MP admitted he had not been contributing much to his blog due to time constraints and his heavy workload. His blog is being updated by one of his assistants.

Opposition leader Lim said not all MPs were aware of the advantages of the Internet.

"As leaders, MPs should be more IT-savvy, in line with the Government’s call for people to be well-versed in ICT," he said.

Minggu ini aku kena siapkan beberapa freelance job, sebab date line dah nak dekat. Maklumlah kena siapkan 4 website for my client. But duitnya belum masuk lagi. Design dan konsep dah setuju. Client tak masukan duit lagi..ini yang tengah kejar...

Website yang aku kena siapkan adflin (Buli Balik) Urgent Job, Red Wire also Urgent Job, Corporate Website dan T Shirt Online. Walaupun duit masuk..kalau client lambat masuk masalah jugak. Tapi aku tak fikirkan tu semua janji kepuasan yang aku buat tetap ada. Biasalah bukan senang nak jadi senang atau bukan senang nak cari rezeki kalau tak usaha. Nanti bila dah siap aku akan preview kat blog kay...aku nak sambung kerja...

The cinemas have been packing up every single day since it's opening and it is still going strong!!!.... please continue to spread the word if u like the movie and if you don't, don't give up on Malay movies!!!... i'm sure there are many other local directors out there who can whet ur appetite for good Malaysian cinema.

IKLAN tergempar : WE BEAT ERA at the ERA-DIGI futsal tournament in penang on saturday and guess what? we beat both DIGI and later ERA in the finals, by 2 goals to nothing, wicked!! . THE BAIK PUNYA CILOK Futsal TEAM RULES!!! I told the organisers oredi... we are not very skillful and bergaya, but the baik punya cilok team have great understanding of each other and have great fighting spirit cause, except for AC mizal, we ( lowly free-lancing film workers) need all the work that comes our way..

To be fair, there has been good and bad reviews of the movie, as a filmmaker i do not really care about reviews and will do my movies the way i see fit, but i want you to read them all and then watch the film and see with whom you agree with.

As my wife said, "It's all a matter of opinion , there is no right or wrong." (yeahh right!!)

As for me, i remember what U-wei used to tell me, " u just tell ur story! let the technical people worry about the technical side". No excuses, but i guess tayangan unggul could have let me technically finish the film the way i wanted to. But that is another story, in another entry, at another time.

Syukur Alhamdulillah!!!! setelah semalaman mengelabah macam tengilling terkena brandy (hmmmm.... macammana agaknya rupenya ek??).... i baru dapat tahu dari Producer i yang BAIK PUNYA CILOK full house all over MALAYSIA today!!!! dan kepada mereka yang bertanya, BPC opens in SINGAPORE and BRUNEI TODAY TOO!!!!!!.... GILA BABIIIIIIIIIII TONYOK!!!!

Gua betul-betul dengan all humility dan rasa rendah dirinya ingin berterimakasih kepada semua rakyat malaysia, no matter what race or religion u are for having the faith to go to the cinema and spend your hard earnt wages and duit pusaka arwah tok anda semua kat panggung untuk menonton BAIK PUNYA CILOK.

I really... really hope the momentum keeps on going and BAIK PUNYA CILOK becomes the monster MALAYSIAN movie of 2005. Ada satu cerita tu, satu family hampa tak dapat tengok BPC kerana ticket habis dan oleh sebab itu, TERPAKSA...TERPAKSA tau.... tengok KINGKONG. Gila tak GILA... selalu senarionya terbalik untuk MALAY MOVIES

To those of you who haven't watched BPC, please... please make a date with us at any of the cinemas near you because from the feedback that i have been getting... it is a movie u must not miss kalau you mencari something different in MALAY MOVIES.

Having said all that, i just wanna say that every film project for me is like school. I learn so much from each experience and will definitely try to make the next project better and i pray that god will always give me room to improve... so that i can keep giving u guys better and better stuff.
